Same-Day Crowns
We now make crowns in-house. For most cases that means no impressions sent to a lab, no weeks in a temporary crown, and no second trip to place the permanent one. Your crown is designed, milled, and fitted the same day, in our office.
How same-day crowns work
The old way of doing a crown took two visits and about two weeks in between. We take a digital scan of your tooth, design the crown on screen, and mill it right here while you wait. When it is ready, we check the fit and bite and bond it into place, all in one appointment.
For a lot of patients that is the difference between taking one afternoon off work instead of two, and never having to babysit a temporary crown that can loosen or come off.
Strong repairs for damaged teeth
A crown covers and protects a tooth that is cracked, worn, heavily filled, or treated with a root canal. Made from a solid ceramic block and color-matched to your other teeth, a same-day crown restores the strength and the look of the natural tooth.
Some complex cases still need extra steps or a specialty lab, and we will tell you honestly when that is true. But for most crowns, we can now finish the whole thing in a single day.
