A regular cleaning and exam is the visit that keeps every other visit small. Our hygienists clean gently and thoroughly, and one of our three dentists checks your teeth and gums so anything new gets caught early, while it is still easy to treat.
What a routine visit looks like
Your hygienist removes the plaque and tartar that a toothbrush cannot reach, polishes your teeth, and talks through anything worth watching at home. Patients here tell us the cleanings are careful and unhurried. One review simply said the hygienist was excellent and very professional, and that is the standard we hold every chair to.
After the cleaning, a dentist reviews your exam. We look for early decay, gum changes, worn or cracked teeth, and anything that might turn into a bigger problem if it waits. When we find something, we explain what it is and what your options are before any treatment is scheduled.
Sealants and prevention
For children and teens, dental sealants add a thin protective layer to the grooves of the back teeth, where cavities most often start. They are quick, painless, and one of the simplest ways to keep young teeth healthy through the cavity-prone years.
